Located on the hilltop of Haut Astarac in the protected zone « Natura 2000 », Ensarnaut is in the middle of the most preserved and wild part of the Gers. Here, nature is queen and this 65 acres site is dedicated to environment protection. 23 ponies live around the 2 eco-friendly big and bright accommodations. Nearby the owners’ house and in the old barn, “Côtés Frênes” (100m²) has been renewed with authentic and pure materials (clay, wood,…) that give a peaceful atmosphere to the rooms. It is fully equipped with a big living room open on a kitchen and fireplace, overlooked by a mezzanine for 2 persons, 2 rooms for 2 and 3 persons, a bathroom with 2 showers and 2 toilets. All the cleaning products are green and available. Outside, a private garden with tall ash trees and sofas are there for you to relax and enjoy the view on the countryside. If you would like to, some 200km of marked trails can be followed for a walk, horseback rides or bike tour. A picnic next to the lake to observe butterflies, birds, insects and flowers is also an option. Artistic and outdoors activities for everyone are available there and only for visitors.
